Dr Maria Daskalaki



Maria Daskalaki is an Associate Professor at Kingston University, School of Management. She got her  MA in Organisational Analysis and Behaviour from Lancaster University and her PhD in Organisation Studies from Royal Holloway, University of London.She is currently involved with the PhD programme in the Business School as well as the MA in HRM at the School of Management. She has participated in ESRC-funded projects (Creative Industries and Gender) as well as a REED-funded project (Labour Turnover in MNCs in the UK). Her work has been published in various journals including Organization Studies, Journal of Management Inquiry, Business and Professional Ethics Journal, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Culture and Organisation and International Journal of Urban and Regional Research. She has also published chapters in edited volumes by Palgrave (2003) and Routledge (2014). Expertise: Post-structuralism and the construction of individual and group identities; Space and Art in relation to Organisational Theory and Practice;  Networks and Social Entrepreneurship; Autobiography in Organisation Studies, Assemblage Theory, Alternative forms of Organizing.
